My Ranger is due for a 75,000 km service and the dealer is advising that I have a EGR Clean at $176. Will this clean up result in improved fuel consumption? I do a fair amount of caravan towing (Jayco Journey OB 16.67) and currently average around 14.6 L/100k. Any thoughts welcome.
