My 2012 Fusion S, 6 speed manual with about 125,000 miles will sometimes, arbitrarily have the revs drop down to idle, regardless of where the throttle is. Restarting the engine seems to reset the issue, at least for a while. Sometimes it doesn't do it for a week, then several times in a row. Otherwise it runs great. Any ideas? Throttle position sensor?
