Drive until engine failure

Hello all . Awhile back I received a letter from Ford informing me about replacing the timing belt and related parts because of timing belt failure . Now been informed by Ford no parts available and just drive until engine failure occurs. Vers replacing parts to prevent a failure. Im at 50000 miles and wondering if is an average miles failure occurs. Thank for any input.

Mine is a 2020 with a 1.0 and failed in July this year at 56k miles. It gave no warning. It didn’t overheat or act funny but after I got it home, it would not start. It’s been at the dealership since July 2nd still waiting on a replacement engine
